Ryan Imel is a web developer and entrepreneur currently living in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Ryan briefly attended Huntington University to pursue Philosophy before leaving to focus on his passion at the time: developing websites. He worked remotely for about six months with Element Fusion, building as many as four or five websites every single week. He then focused on freelance work for the next three years or so, during which he worked on projects for companies such as Pfizer, Holiday Inn and Bio.com, as well as blogs for great folks like Andrew Hyde, David G. Cohen, and Jeffrey Kalmikoff.
Since fall of 2010 Ryan has been the owner and editor of WPCandy.com, a publication dedicated to the WordPress project and community. You can find him publishing there most days.
If you know me, you’re probably most interested in things I’ve posted that are a bit more personal in nature. While I try to keep it professional here, I also share plenty of my own thoughts. I shared when I found out I’m an evil socialist, when I moved in and painted my new apartment, music when I like it, and movies I’ve seen (both when I like them and when I don’t).
